Reddot Food: Your Voice, Our Commitment

Introduction: Engaging with Our Community

Thank you for your continued support and participation in the recent survey in the months of June-July 2024. This blog outlines how your valuable feedback shapes the future of Reddot Food, helping us enhance our products and better serve your needs.

The comprehensive survey was conducted across our community in Germany, Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands to understand better your needs, preferences, and experiences with our brand. The overwhelming response highlighted your deep connection with Reddot Food, and we’re genuinely grateful for your insights. Your feedback plays a vital role in shaping our future, guiding us to refine our offerings to meet your expectations while staying true to our mission of delivering authentic, wholesome Indian meals.

Reddot Food was founded with a simple goal: to nourish our families with the authentic Indian meals we grew up loving. Disheartened by the lack of quality options in the market, we created Reddot Food to bring healthier, additive-free alternatives to tables everywhere.

Our vision is to become the global choice for Indian cuisine, rooted in the traditional values that define our food.

जैसा अन्न, वैसा मन (Jaisa Ann, Vaisa Mann)—As is the food, so is the mind. This age-old wisdom guides us in crafting nourishing products for the body and vital for the mind.

Why We Conducted the Survey

At Reddot Food, our commitment to better serving our customers drives everything we do. We view every meal as a step toward better health. Guided by this philosophy, we conducted a comprehensive survey to understand your health priorities and dietary habits, particularly regarding flours and multi-grain flours, to ensure we offer the most beneficial staples for your well-being.

The survey aimed to gather insights on several key areas:

  • Demographics: We explored factors such as age, gender, ethnicity, and the country you reside in within the EU, as well as how long you’ve lived there and the size of your household.
  • Health and Dietary Preferences: We asked about health conditions, dietary restrictions, and allergies that influence your food choices, particularly concerning multi-grain flour.
  • Current Habits: We delved into your habits around making traditional foods like rotis, chapatis, and parathas, focusing on whether you use multi-grain flour and what might prevent its use.
  • Practical Considerations: We explored how you store flour, your packaging preferences, and other concerns regarding multi-grain flour products.

Key Survey Findings & Insights

The survey provided us with several key insights:

Demographics: A significant portion of our audience (80.7%) is aged between 26-45, a group focused on maintaining health during a critical life stage. Most respondents have lived in the EU/UK for over five years, indicating a well-established community seeking products that resonate with their cultural heritage. Additionally, family-oriented households are predominant, with 70.5% living in families with children, highlighting the need for products that cater to both adult and child health needs.

Health Concerns: Health issues like obesity (24.7%), High cholesterol (15.63%) and diabetes (17.2%) are prevalent, underscoring the importance of offering multi-grain flours with health benefits such as a low glycemic index and high fiber content.

Multi-Grain Flour Usage: While 68.8% of respondents already use multi-grain flour for making traditional foods, barriers such as taste preferences, price concerns, and availability still deter some from regular use. Although 51.5% use multi-grain flour weekly or more frequently, there is potential to increase daily adoption by addressing these concerns.

Interestingly, despite the widespread use of multi-grain flour, many are unaware of the specific grains it contains and the associated health benefits. This presents an opportunity for us to educate our community and highlight the nutritional advantages of multi-grain options.

Many users of multigrain flour have shared valuable feedback, highlighting both challenges and room for improvement. Some found the chapatis made from multigrain flour lacking in taste or texture, while others noted difficulties with rolling, color, and hardness over time.We value this input and are working on refining our product to meet these expectations.

Customer Preferences: Customers primarily choose multi-grain flour for its health benefits, with 95.3% valuing its high fiber content. Enhancing packaging to improve storage and freshness could further boost satisfaction, ensuring our products remain convenient and beneficial for our health-conscious community.

Your Feedback, Our Innovation - Launching Khapli Wheat Flour

In direct response to your feedback, we are excited to announce the launch of our new product, Khapli Wheat Flour. Freshly milled and stone-ground, this flour is truly special. Unlike many flours that sit on shelves for months or even years, our Khapli wheat is freshly milled and stone-ground just days or a few weeks ago. This means you receive flour at its peak freshness, packed with a full range of nutrients and rich in flavor.

Khapli wheat is an ancient grain renowned for its low glycemic index and lower gluten content compared to many other wheat varieties, making it an excellent choice for those managing diabetes or with gluten sensitivity.

Rich in fiber, protein, and essential nutrients, Khapli wheat supports heart health, digestive wellness, and overall well-being. Khapli wheat, which was cherished by our ancestors for its remarkable health benefits, is now regaining its charm in modern times.

We can't wait to make this nutrient-dense option available to you, reconnecting you with traditional, wholesome eating practices.

Immediate Actions and Long-Term Commitments

Your insights have prompted us to take immediate action. In addition to launching Khapli wheat flour, we are collaborating with nutritionists, grain experts, and milling specialists to further refine our product offerings.
